Itinerary:

Day 1

  • 05.00 am: Pick up from Surabaya and ETD to Sukapura village
  • 07.00 am ETA Sukapura village, transfer cars with 4WD, and depart for Bromo Crater.
  • 07.30 am ETA at the park in the Bromo area, trek to the Bromo crater (approximately 2 km), do sightseeing, and visit the Pura Luhur Poten temple.
  • 10.00 am Explore the Bromo Desert at
  • 10:15 am ETD: Travel to the Penanjakan/Kingkong Hill viewpoint to enjoy the Bromo view above 2,700 m; then, continue to the Love Hill Bromo viewpoint.
  • 12:30 pm ETD to Sukapura village
  • 01.30 pm ETA Sukapura village, transfer cars, and depart for the Surabaya/Malang area.
  • 04.00 pm ETA Surabaya/Malang area & tour finish!

Mount Bromo

Bromo is an active volcano in East Java, Indonesia, located in the Tengger Mountains. It is not the highest summit in the massif, standing at 2,329 meters (7,641 feet), but it is the most well-known. The area is one of East Java’s most famous tourist sites, and the volcano is part of the Bromo Tengger Semeru National Park. Bromo is a Javanese pronunciation of Brahma, the Hindu god of creation. Mount Bromo is located in the “Sea of Sand” environmental reserve, Mount Bromo has erupted several times, the most recent in 2010.
